El geranio es una de las plantas más populares en España. Resisten muy bien a la sequía y al calor, y además, sus flores se encargan de decorar y alegrar los jardines y balcones de medio país.
Es originario de Sudáfrica, específicamente de la región del Cabo de Buena Esperanza.
También es llamado geranio pensamiento.
